Alabama Adolescent Health Survey
General Information
The Alabama Adolescent Health Survey (AAHS) measures students' attitudes towards and knowledge of mental health, suicide, violence, sexual attitudes and behavior, forced sex, contraceptive utilization by females and males, pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease knowledge, HIV/AIDS knowledge, alcohol abuse, substance abuse, and nutrition. Items from the AAHS were modified from the National Adolescent School Health Survey (NASHS) conducted in 1987.
