Online Champion Team Community

The blog you are reading here is an opportunity to create an online community where professionals from the NJ juvenile justice system - the state's secure care facilities, residential community homes, and the county detention centers - can discuss important issues and share best practices. This blog grew as an extension of the Champion Team rallies, where it quickly became clear how valuable sharing this information from facility to facility can be.

Trauma and Juvenile Justice - Panel

Rutgers-Camden panel series aims at juveniles, justice system

"Rethinking Childhood: Juveniles and the Justice System" is presented by the Rutgers-Camden Center for Children and Childhood Studies and the Children's Justice Clinic at the Rutgers University School of Law at Camden.

This important series runs from March 1 through focuses on trauma and its impact on children in the juvenile justice system. Seems like it will be well worth the attention of all you folks in the southern part of the state who can get out to hear it.
